Gloom was my PNCA Illustration thesis project. A 16-page comic, it introduces orphaned boy Ruslen and ancient demigod Ancestor on their journey across the surface of their destroyed world. Taking thematic and stylistic cues from the work of Moebius, Miyazaki, and Otomo, Gloom was my first major comic project - a fun and intense crash course in the medium.
