For my PNCA Illustration thesis project, I created a comic book. Gloom follows the characters Ruslen, an orphaned boy, and Ancestor, a demigod from a past age. As they travel together, the two must contend with the omnipresent hostility of a swamplike superorganism choking the surface of their destroyed world.
